The 2010-2011 wrestling season is just around the corner and we hope that everyone comes back out for another season.
This is an opportunity for young athletes to experience one of the oldest sports in the world, wrestling. Our goal in youth wrestling is to build a strong base of physical and mental strength as an overall athlete. We also want the athletes to have fun and gain individual confidence while learning a unique team sport.
Sign-ups will be Wednesday, November 3rd and Wednesday, November 10th in the commons at LS West High School. We will be there from 6-8 pm both nights. We will be in the commons area to hand out the paperwork. The coaches will also be there for any questions you might have. Please let everyone know that might be interested.
Practice will start Tuesday, November 16th at 6pm for novice and 7:15 pm for experienced. We will hold practice the same time and place as last year, Tuesday and Thursday. This year the Wednesday night practice will be built more towards strength and conditioning.
