Lee’s Summit Downtown Days winds down after another successful event

This weekend, Downtown Lee’s Summit hosted “Downtown Days”, which consisted of a little bit of something for everyone — rides, games, food, music and last but not least, an abundance of shopping booths. Many of the booths consisted of handmade crafts such as wood figures, rock figures, dresses, pictures, baby items, gourmet food mixes and more! You name it, they were probably selling it. Other vendor and sponsor booths included Verizon Wireless, Mix 93.3, siding companies, and bathroom and kitchen remodeling.
Downtown Days was not without a good dose of talented local bands including Poison Overdose, The Knobs, Wildstreet, and The Last Vegas, to name a few. And you were certain not to leave hungry when surrounded by everything from corn dogs, chicken on a stick, fried pickles, Greek salads and gyros. Lee’s Summit’s Downtown Days always proves to be an event not to be missed.
