Greenwood’s 20th Annual Independence Day Festival, June 26th

Activities:

4 pm: Fun-Filled Carnival, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo – $7 all you can ride (Children 2-years & under FREE)

Mechanical bull – $5/one ride or $10/unlimited

Visit booths from businesses & charities

5 pm: Car show – This car show grows better and better each year.  Vintage to modern cars participate. Come meet the proud owners!

5-6 pm: First Baptist Church 5k Freedom Run/Walk fundraiser – Get ready for the First Annual FREEDOM 5k. Will start at First Baptist Church of Greenwood and end at Hitt Park proceeds to go to one of our fallen Veterans.

5-6 pm: Layton’s Dance Academy performs on main basketball court –

6:30 pm: Kansas City Country musicians, The Longhorn Band, LIVE ON STAGE

7:30 pm: Life Flight helicopter

8:15 pm: Thrilling professional Skydivers fly into Hitt Park’s Field #3

9:15 pm: Sam Teghtmeyer sings National Anthem LIVE ON STAGE

Boy Scout Troop 262 and Cub Scout Pack 778 Ceremonial American Flag Lowering

9:30 pm: Fireworks display
