Greenwood welcomes new computer repair shop

GYC owner, Adrian Muir, opens his new business in Greenwood, MO.

“GYC” is a full service Computer Repair Shop open 6 days a week! Virus & spyware removal, “dead” computers, data recovery & back-up, and electronic recycling are just a few of the services that they provide in the shop. In addition, GYC can accommodate individuals, & businesses, offering in-home/office repairs and Pick-up & Delivery Services.

“GYC” also offers numerous computer classes in their facility, as well as other locations in the metro. In fact, over the last 2+ years, GYC has taught hundreds of “beginner & novice” adults ranging in age from mid 40’s to mid 90’s in Jackson and Johnson County. Some of the courses offered include the basics of how to operate a computer and include other more advanced classes including E-Mail, Internet, and other topics including Digital Photography, I-Tunes, Facebook and Microsoft Office. The Classes are held in small groups, meet weekly for 45 minutes and are scheduled in 8-week semesters.

On Saturday May 22nd GYC hosted a Grand Opening celebration.  Over 80 people stopped by to enter to win a new computer, tour the facility, and enjoy some Hot Dogs and “Here’s Your Scoop” Ice Cream. The winner of the Netbook Computer was Robert Barr of Greenwood.
