Summit Pointe Elementary raises money for Playgrounds of Peace

A KOMPAN Seesaw is one of the equipment pieces slated for purchase for the playground in Poland.
Summit Pointe Elementary School recently completed a fundraiser to help raise money to build playgrounds in Poland.
The fundraiser, called “Pennies for Playgrounds,” raised $1,107. Money collected is being donated to Playgrounds of Peace, a Lee’s Summit-based organization that raises money to fund playgrounds for orphanages in Poland.
