Jackson County Sheriff Mike Sharp over the past year organized several other Missouri Sheriffs, local police agencies and Missouri State Highway Patrol, to participate in the escort of approximately 300 motorcycles crossing Missouri from Kansas City to St. Louis Missouri.

This event started in 1989 and has gained huge support in honoring all military personnel.

The Motorcycle Escort will travel across Missouri on Interstate I-70 to Wentzville, Missouri where the Motorcycle riders will spent the night.

The event travels across the United States starting at the west coast and traveling to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington D.C. to honor our military veterans.

The Riders were anticipated to arrive here in Kansas City about 10:45 am today on East Bound I-670.
