Starlight was the place for Blue Star Awards presented by Blue Star & Blue Shield on Thursday May 27, 2010.

Four of the twenty awards were presented to high schools in the Lee’s Summit School District. The Awards from Lee’s Summit were: Outstanding Overall Production Performance, Lee’s Summit High School’s Production of Carousel; Outstanding Actress in a Featured Role, Olivia Lynn as Carrie Pipperidge in LSHS’s production of Carousel; Outstanding Light Design, Lee’s Summit West’s production of A Chorus Line; Outstanding Ensemble, LSHS’s production of Carousel.
