Early this year, one of my favorite Lee’s Summit restaurants suffered damage due to a fire. I love their Prime-Rib Sandwich. I find myself craving it on a weekly basis and every time I drive by, the lights remain off and their listing on KansasCityMenus.com still reads “Temporarily Closed due to a Fire. Check back for Reopening Details.” Well, with no news for the last three months, I decided to shoot them a message asking for the reopening details. Sadly, Forbes Cross, Forbes’ namesake owner replied with the following message: “No the place is for sale sorry”. Forbes is one Lee’s Summit Spot that I’ll truly miss.
