Texting, drinking and driving; truck crashes into Lee’s Summit gas station

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. – A truck crashed into a gas station Tuesday morning, leaving a gaping hole in the store.
It happened about 7:45 a.m. at a Conoco Station at 5050 N.E. Lakewood Way, near I-470 and Bowlin Road. Tire tracks were clearly visible in the grass as Skytracker arrived over the scene shortly after it happened.
Police say they arrested the driver of the truck, 43-year-old Greg Barker
