WHY DO YOU RUN? If you answered “I don’t know!?!”, now you have a REASON…
Jacob, Grace and Sam Cox need you. They all three have SHWACHMAN-DIAMOND SYNDROME, a rare genetic disease, which curtails the production of bacteria-fighting blood cells and digestive enzymes needed to absorb nutrients properly. It can lead to life-threatening infection, bone-marrow failure or a deadly form of LEUKEMIA.

Their parents, CHRIS AND VICKIE COX, have given up literally everything to do what’s best for their children—their home, their savings, their jobs. The Cox family faces thousands of dollars of unpaid medical bills, a job lay-off and temporary housing (that will end soon).
The out-of-pocket cost of daily injections and medications for all three children are astronomical! With no current insurance, you can imagine the financial burden.
This family, formally of Lake Winnebago, has moved out-of-state to be closer to their childrens’ doctors and research facilities.
Their wish is to be back here in MO with their ABUNDANT LIFE BAPTIST CHURCH family and friends. But, for now, they must do what is best for their children.

God’s Timing

God will always give what is right to his people who cry to him night and day, and he will not be slow to answer them. Luke 18:7
Why does God wait until the money is gone? Why does he wait until the sickness has lingered? Why does he choose to wait until the other side of the grave to answer the prayers for healing?
I don’t know. I only know his timing is always right. I can only say he will do what is best..
Though you hear nothing, he is speaking. Though you see nothing, he is acting. With God there are no accidents. Every incident is intended to bring us closer to him.
