Beginning September 15, the City of Lee’s Summit will close Douglas Road between 7th Street and 9th Street for approximately three weeks. The closure is necessary for water main construction across Douglas Road. Local access will be maintained during construction.  A detour will be posted for through traffic using 7th Street, Miller Street, and 9th Street.
