Lee’s Summit High School Hosts 1st Annual Golf Classic Oct. 4th

On Sunday, October 4th, the Lee’s Summit High School (LSHS) wrestling program will be hosting the 1st Annual John Repp Golf Classic at 1:00PM at Shamrock Hills Golf Course. Coach Repp taught elementary physical education for thirty years in the R7 school district, first at Miller Park Elementary and finishing his career at Greenwood Elementary. He was also an assistant wrestling coach at LSHS for 30 years. The wrestling program felt it was fitting to create this event in honor of Coach Repp for the thousands of students that he influenced over the years. The proceeds from this event will go to the LSHS wrestling program. Most importantly, it will establish a scholarship for a senior wrestler to be presented annually in May by Coach Repp.
