Free Friday night concerts continue this summer in Downtown Lees Summit Main Street. Its Music in the Park concert series is sponsored by the Bank of Lee’s Summit. The concerts run from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. at Howard Station Park and end at 10:00 p.m. The park is located in Downtown Lees Summit at the corner of Third and S.E. Main Street. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on.
Remaining summer concerts include:
July 24th: Devin Amos (country) and Plan B (country/folk)
July 31st: TBA
August 7th: LS Parks & Recreation’s Blues & Jazz Fest(blues&jazz)
August 14th: Larry Garrett (folk/rock)
August 21st: KC Cafe Radio’s John Dutton (jazz)
August 28th: Spiny Norman (americana pop/rock)
September 4th: BackBeat Music School
