21, Third Thursday Art Walk, 5-9 p.m. A monthly art crawl in Downtown Lee’s Summit where guests can visit participating stores for local art, food and spirits. It takes place the third Thursday of every month and many stores are open late. Downtown Lee’s Summit Main Street, 816-246-6598

30, 8:30a-Registration; 9a-11a-Fishing: 12TH Annual Kid’s Fishing Derby, Children ages 4 through 14 will enjoy fishing from a well-stocked lake, and winners from each age division will receive great prizes. Enjoy hot dogs, chips, and drinks provided by Cosentino’s Price Chopper. Worms will be provided and no fishing license is needed. Please bring a fishing rod and lures. 7, 9am & 10:30am: 23rd Church Anniversary Celebration. We’re celebrating COTROC’s 23rd Anniversary! As part of the celebration, we’re giving a food box to families in need. Reservations required. Round table format allows you to introduce your business through a brief period of introductory face time. This format breaks down barriers quickly and gives you an opportunity to build your referral base.
